Acorn Montessori
Acorn's Montessori environment contains specially designed tactile materials along with new, state-of-the-art Saxon and McGraw Hill text books. The school also has custom-made computers using online / secured Internet for learning and skill development.
Acorn's goal is to cultivate interest, concentration, motivation and self discipline through academic interest. Acorn Montessori uses Saxon and McGraw Hill for quarterly assessments. Acorn participates in the Arizona Instrument to Measure Student Success (AIMS), mandated by the Arizona Department of Education. Students receive quarterly report cards. Each semester we host parent conferences. Parents are welcome to request conferences with teachers throughout the school year. Parent involvement is encouraged. Acorn believes in good communication and celebrates this by hosting family nights at Acorn, which include Annual Title I meetings and disbursements of School-Parent Compacts.
Mingus Mountain Academy
Mingus Mountain Academy is a JCAHO-accredited facility offering treatment and educational services for emotionally and behaviorally at-risk girls. Founded in 1985, the Academy is located on a 120-acre campus at the base of Mingus Mountain in beautiful Prescott Valley, Arizona. The campus consists of multiple dormitories, a North Central Association-accredited educational center, a medical/clinical complex, an administration center, and a spiritual growth center. Mingus Mountain Academy offers a variety of individual treatment and educational services, including its unique equestrian program.
Park View Middle School
Park View Middle School is committed to providing a broad, relevant education to all of its 6, 7, and 8th grade students. To help develop life-long learners by assisting the students in becoming responsible, useful members of their communities; education at Park View emphasizes application skills that go beyond textbook information to include

Yavapai College
The Prescott Valley Campus of Yavapai College trains approximately half of the police, emergency medical and fire personnel employed by Yavapai County through state-of-the-industry programs in the fields of law enforcement, fire science, emergency medicine and administration of justice.
